Wales is surrounded by sea on three sides, and paddlers are increasingly testing their skills against the swells which break against our shores.

Wales has a strong history of success at all level competitions. The team has won numerous Home Internationals and many top 3 on the World stage both as a team and individually. These include 2 senior World titles, 2nd ladies, 2nd men senior - an impressive achievement for a small nation.

The Welsh Surf Kayak Committee will promote development days around the country to encourage involvement in our sport, where members of our international team will be in attendance.

 

 The aim of these development days is to introduce people into the surf kayak community, under guidance of top Welsh coaches and the Welsh surf kayak team in a safe and fun environment. With the hope that they will become hooked and develop into key team players.
